The Gardener’s View

Black fruit on the Eurya Japonica
On the southern side of the garden path and just in front of the three-tiered waterfall, there are Eurya Japonicas that are hanging low with fruit. They are so small that you might overlook them, but we recommend looking at them against the background of the moss or together with the fallen maple leaves.

The Gardener’s View

Now’s the perfect time to see the garden’s Sarcandra glabra. They look like a single dot of crimson at the foot of the three tiered waterfall. Enjoy the scenery of the waterfall and Sarcandra glabra from the stepping stones and the trees reflected on the water’s surface when you turn back toward the main building.

The Gardener’s View

In a small forest, there were ten marlberries that had turned red. Marlberries are considered to be a lucky plant. The look just like little cherries. There should be a lot of them that have turned red by the time the birds of winter arrive.
