ニュイブランシュ KYOTO 2019

京都市とアンスティチュ・フランセ関西が毎秋に開催しているイベントです。無鄰菴では母屋及びお茶室にてアントニー・ボダン氏の作品展示をおこなっています。布地にフェルトペンで仕上げた作品、白黒にペンキで塗りつぶされたオブジェなどの作品を無鄰菴の雰囲気に影響されながら展示をされています。

Nuit Blanche KYOTO 2019
Nuit Blanche KYOTO is an event held every autumn by Kyoto City and the Institut Francais Kansai. At Murin-an, we are holding an exhibition of works by Anthony Bodin in the main house and tea room. Works completed by applying felt pens to a canvas and objects covered in black and white paint are both influenced by and exhibited at Murin-an.

Exhibition continues from September 28 (Sat.)~October 20 (Sun.) *No reservations necessary/regular entry fee applies

As of April 2019, entry is free for all age 35 or under on the 28th of every month!
Be sure to invite a friend to visit the garden with. You can relax at our garden cafe―it’s one of Kyoto’s little hideawaysーsnap some pictures, or learn more about the garden. Take your time as you enjoy Murin-an.

季節のしつらえと限定茶菓子

無鄰菴では、四季折々の「しつらえ」でお客様をお迎えさせていただいております。明日は二十四節気の「秋分（しゅうぶん）」にちなんだ季節の花のしつらえを母屋にてお楽しみいただけます。また「秋分」に合わせたこの日限りのお茶菓子（限定数）もご用意し、皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。当日は、じょうよ饅頭に焼印をいれたススキのお茶菓子をご用意致します。尚、こちらの茶菓子席は無くなり次第終了です。ご了承下さいませ。

Spend a truly Japanese afternoon with appropriately seasonal sweets in a room decorated with seasonal flowers. At Murin-an, you can savor the season’s blessings with all your senses. Tomorrow’s theme is ” Shubun” (秋分), Frost season in Japan’s 24-season calendar.
Enjoy sitting next to our new flower arrangement in the main house while exploring the delicate taste of wagashi (Japanese sweets) balanced by the pleasantly bitter taste of matcha tea, and also enjoying the soothing view of the garden.
First-come-first-served, there is only a limited availability of tea sweets, which are exclusively created for Murin-an garden.

夏の終わりの無鄰菴在釜は和やかな雰囲気に包まれていました。

今回も、夏の暑さを涼しく過ごしていただくために、氷柱をご用意いたしました。氷の上にある飾りがとてもきれいだとたくさんのお声をいただき、嬉しい限りです。皆さま興味深々で覗き込む方や一緒に写真を撮られる方など様々な時間を過ごしていただいております。

To give everyone a chance to cool off from the summer heat, we prepared ice blocks this month. So many of our visitors have told us that the decolate above the ice look extremely beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Our visitors are enjoying all sorts of moments, from peering fascinatedly at the ice to taking photographs together with them.
Last entry is at 5:30 PM. We hope everyone nearby will drop in.
