茶道の作法や日本庭園の知識、日本文化の知識など、様々なスキルを身に着けていただきながら、
一緒に庭園文化を育んでいきませんか？

9月12日は「ハイタカ」についてのお話を致します。今回は猛禽類であるハイタカの生態についてお話させていただきます。ご参加の方には鳥イラストのオリジナルポストカードもプレゼント。
お庭で見かけるその鳥たちの正体は？ 彼らのメッセージとは？無鄰菴とその周辺で見かける野鳥たちの生態や習性、豆知識などを楽しくご紹介します。

Weekend Garden Guide

On September 9, in a light rain underneath which fresh green moss was growing, we had visitors observe every area of the garden, while providing them with an overview of the garden. Visitors took an interest in the explanations that we provided from the stepping stones along the gravel path and were also very moved by the scenic view that expanded outward from the shallow pond stones. Guided tours are held every weekend.

文化財講座技術編 第 7回 「現代から見た植治の庭」
今回は菅澤 茂先生と小川 勝章さん（次期十二代 小川治兵衛／御庭植治）から造園について詳しくお話いただきました。室内では植治について、これまでの庭園＆これからの庭園、先人の教えとは？庭石が安定する方法など、盛りだくさんの内容をお伝え頂き、実際にお庭を巡って自然や庭について解説くださいました。みなさま熱心にメモも取られ、充実した一時を過ごしました。

At this lecture, Professor Shigeru Sugasawa and Mr. Katsuaki Ogawa (a 12th generation descendant of Jihei Ogawa 12th/Onniwa Ueji, Inc.) spoke in detail about landscaping. Inside the lecture room, they taught us many things about master gardener Jihei Ogawa, the past and future of gardens, what lessons our predecessors have for us, and how to settle garden stones in place. Then they actually toured the gardens with us as they gave explanations about gardens and nature. Everyone enthusiastically took notes and spent a fulfilling time together.

「庭師と学ぶ　フォスタリング・スタディーズ　第2シリーズ 　vol.3 秋」
お庭のお手入れを庭師の指導のもと、芝地に生える野草の草引き、園路の砂利寄せの作業を行いました。立派に育った野草もあり、抜いていいものか迷いながら庭師さんに伺いながら作業が進み、砂利寄せでは、綺麗に砂のラインを作る方法、お庭に合った砂の選び方などを学びながら手箒を巧みに動かして作業を行いました。あっという間に2時間が経過し、ご参加いただいた方から「シダの剪定を早速試してみたいと思います」「芝の中にいろんな野草の世界が広がっていてびっくりした」とお声をいただきました。

週末庭園めぐり
9月8日(土）の、庭園めぐりのガイドを開催いたしました。
庭園コンシェルジュが、ご一緒にお庭をめぐりながら日本庭園の見かたやはぐくみ方をご紹介し、雨上がりの無鄰菴の庭園を楽しんでいただきました。遠方からお越しいただきありがとうございました。ご参加の方から「視覚だけでなく五感で庭を感じる事が、新しい発見でした。庭の在り方について今まで以上に興味深さが増しました。お庭めぐりの案内で更に楽しく見て回る事ができて、とても嬉しかったです。」とのお声を頂きました。

Weekend Garden Guide
Afternoon 8th(Sat) Sep already stopped to rain. So, the moss in the garden was lively. How does the view of the garden change when seen from different perspectives? How does Murin-an contrast with other gardens? Our garden concierges guided visitors through the garden during the morning and afternoon, explaining the artistic yet naturalistic composition of the mountain view, the stream, and wildflowers – Murin-an’s most characteristic features. The Garden Guide is held every weekend! We got many comments “It was a new discovery that feeling the garden with not only sight but also five senses. Also, I became more interested in landscaping than ever. I was happy to be able to turn even more happy with the guidance of the garden tour” from a participant.

無鄰菴茶道教室
母屋1階にて、裏千家宗名・千葉宗幸／若手庭師によるお教室を開催いたしました。
お稽古の中では、お点前体験の他、「樂七種（らくしちしゅ）」のお話をしていただきました。これは千利休が名作と見立てたと伝えられる七種の茶碗で、黒楽茶碗3種、赤楽茶碗4種から構成されています。現存するものもあり、そうでないものもあり、その銘にまつわるエピソードも含めて神話的でありました。今回も楽しいお話をありがとうございました。

初めての方も、お庭を散策に来られた方も、毎週土曜日、お気軽に体験出来ます。無鄰菴お立ち寄りの際の＋αを記念にどうぞ。

Saturday’s Tea ceremony classroom
Young, yet knowledgeable and energetic tea master Soko Chiba invited to the regular Saturday’s tea ceremony class. In addition to offering selected tea powder in the most graceful, stately manner, the guests were taught about “Rakushichishu- The seven kinds of Tea Bowls”. It is composed of seven tea bowls that Sen Rikyu is considered a masterpiece, it consists of 3 kinds of black bowls and 4 kinds of red tea bowls. There are still some existed, already any were not. The issue episode was a very mysterious story.

The Murinan Tea ceremony is held every Saturday. Come around to the garden and savor a cup of freshly whisked, enticing green tea.

【Album】The Murinan Tea ceremony classroom
The Murinan Tea ceremony classroom was held by Soko Chiba (the young and enthusiastic instructor). This time, there were not only a tea ceremony experience but also detailed commentary about “Rikyu shichitetsu” The term “Rikyu shichitetsu” means the seven leading disciples of Rikyu. As a shogun, they served Nobunaga ODA and Hideyoshi TOYOTOMI, and as a master of the tea ceremony, they studied under SEN no Rikyu and numbered among the Rikyu Shichitetsu (seven sages of Rikyu).
