For October-November, One-time Only Tea Ceremonies in Seasonally Arranged Environments

Enjoy a tea ceremony in a seasonally arranged environment as you gaze upon a garden with a pleasant autumn breeze and a clear blue sky.
Japan’s 24 seasons divide the year into 24 terms based upon the movement of the sun. Each of these seasons has a different name.
The Japanese people use these divisions to grasp the meaning of the seasons and they have long felt the passage of time through the subtle lifestyle changes that each season brings and by incorporating special seasonal events into them.
These seasons have also been used to express gratitude when receiving the blessings of nature.

The tearoom of Murin-an’s main building is a space that lets you feel the changing seasons with all five senses. Here we provide a specially arranged environment to suit each of Japan’s 24 seasons and special Japanese sweets that are available only for one day.
Our sweets are adzuki beans mixed and kneaded together with sugar.
Why not treat yourself to a time that is just a little more indulgent than usual at Murin-an?
