Japanese Tea Ceremony Etiquette Workshop

Japanese Tea Ceremony, the artistic ritual of preparing and drinking tea, is enjoyed and highly valued for its aesthetics and soothing appeal. To help you enjoy the ceremony to its fullest, we will teach you the basic points as well as how to appreciate the essential elements of the ceremony and the tea room, such as the tea bowl, the scroll, or the tea flower. You are welcome to take pictures or videos so that you can practice at home for your next tea gathering. Let’s get together at Murin-an and find out together what lies behind the etiquettes and manners of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.
