As Murin-an members, we invite you to join us to “foster” the Japanese garden and culture. What is ”fostering”? It means to nurture. Japanese gardens have been existing for centuries and hopefully continue to do so as part of Japanese culture. The Murin-an is young amongst the gardens in Kyoto, yet compared to a human life already 120 years old. The garden cannot sustain its beauty without garden artisans’ daily fostering efforts. As the shorelines of the ponds would crumble and the trees would overgrow and hide the borrowed sceneries. Gathering in gardens can be part of the fostering effort. As Murin-an member you help us nurture the garden. A place to meet fellow members all year around or to enjoy time with family and loved ones.
