Option 1: New Year Special Guide at 11am, 1pm and 2pm (15 minutes), enjoy the in-depth guide including the history of Murin-an garden and tips how to enjoy Japanese gardens in an easy-to-grasp manner. Option 2: Japanese Scented garden: Feel the architecture and garden composition enhanced with the seasonal aroma of Japanese incense at several spots of the garden. A rare combination of a new approach and a classical Japanese garden tour. Option 3: Garden Quiz - Stroll through the garden answering the garden quiz of three different levels. You may become a Japanese garden expert after completing all three levels. No worries, you will know the answers easily after the special guide.

Lecturer:Huybrechts Tangetsu-an Tyas Sōsen As a Japanology graduate of Belgium's Leuvern University, Tyas Sōsen later received a Master of Arts in post-graduate degree in the literature, history, and culture of 17th century Japan at Kansai University, Osaka. He is the youngest foreign national and the first Belgian to qualify as a Nihoncha(Japanese tea) Instructor from the Enchu school. Sōsen instructs both Japanese and foreign pupils in 'tea ceremony.' He also hosts workshops, demonstrations, and lectures by capturing the essence of Japanese tea and its culture in order to unravel the unique tradition.
