9月18日（火）は無鄰菴在釜（ざいふ）の日です。
先週の在釜にはアメリカからお越しのお客様がご参加されました。お抹茶を「美味しい！」と喜んでいただけた事、私たちもとても嬉しく思います。

無鄰菴在釜はどなたでも参加していただけます。スタッフが丁寧にレクチャーいたします。もちろんお作法なしでカフェ気分で飲んでいただいてもオッケーです。お気軽にお立ち寄り下さいね。

September 18 (Tues.) is Murin-an’s zaifu day.
At last week’s zaifu, we were visited by participants from the United States. They happily told us that the matcha tea was “delicious!”, which makes us very happy too.
Anyone can participate in Murin-an’s zaifu. Our staff will provide a carefully detailed lecture for you. Of course, you can also enjoy drinking the tea in a cafe style, without performing any part of the tea ceremony. Please feel free to stop by.

「土曜日の苔庭づくり」／Miniature Japanese Moss Gardening Experoence

毎週土曜日、無鄰菴にある苔と同じ種類の本物の苔を利用して｢ミニ無鄰菴｣ 作りにチャレンジ。
終了後は使用した苔を瓶に入れて自分だけの苔リウムをつくってお持ち帰り頂けます。

Every Saturday, visitors challenge themselves to make a “mini-Murin-an” using real moss; the same kind of moss found inside Murin-an. After they finish, participants place the moss used in a bottle and take home their very own mossarium.

【お知らせ】8月21日（火）は無鄰菴在釜（ざいふ）の日です。先週の在釜には可愛いお客様がきて下さいました。スタッフのレクチャーのもと、茶道を楽しんでいただきましたよ。夏休みもあと少し。夏の素敵な思い出になってくれたらいいなと思います。どなたでもお気軽に参加していただける無鄰菴在釜。足を運んでくださると嬉しいです。

【Tuesdays: Japanese Tea】
Zaifu Time – The Casual Tea Ceremony, every Tuesday between 9am – 12pm
In Kyoto, when you come across a sign with the word “在釜” (Zaifu) written on it, it means “a tea kettle is set, come around to have some tea”.
The tea session is free for anyone to join, just look at the young little boy last week, who tried whisking the tea himself!
Enjoy your tea time every Tuesday exclusively at Murin-an and savor a bowl of freshly whisked tea or try preparing yourself – our staff will be happy to explain you all steps one by one! It sure will be your special summer memory in one of the most beautiful Japanese gardens of Kyoto.
