国指定名勝貞観園の所有者であり、保存管理をされている公益財団法人貞観園保存会の皆様が、名勝庭園の利活用事例のご見学のために、無鄰菴にお越しになりました。貞観園は江戸時代に造営され、新潟県最古の国の名勝庭園です。その指定範囲はなんと３ヘクタール！山間にあるダイナミックな庭園は、京都市内の庭園とは味わいの異なる素晴らしいものです。無鄰菴の日々の取り組みが、ご参考になれば幸いです。新潟にお越しの際は、ぜひご来訪くださいませ。HPはコチラ↓

The Teikanen Conservation Society is the owner of Teikanen, a garden that is one of Japan’s nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty. Members of their organization visited Murin-an to study how we are utilizing the garden. Teikanen was constructed in the Edo period and is the oldest garden to be designated a national Place of Scenic Beauty in Niigata prefecture. Its area covers a whole three hectares! This dynamic garden in the mountains is an extraordinary place with an atmosphere that is very different from the gardens in Kyoto.
