特別企画　末富×無鄰菴「和菓子と『銘』と歌の世界Vol.2 秋から冬へ」／ Japanese Sweets and Traditional Japanese Lyrics

9月15日（日）に、京菓子司　末富の会長：山口 富蔵さんを招いて和菓子の講座を開催致しました。クレパスで描かれた和菓子のご紹介は、これからの季節を感じさせるものがたくさんあり、和歌と関係した創作の奥深さを知る機会となりました。今回は百人一首の第1首をイメージしたお菓子をご用意下さり、最後は皆様でお抹茶とともに召し上がっていただきましたが、和菓子に込められた表現をじっくりと学んだあとの味わいは、視覚だけでなく、口の中でも世界感が広がりました。「歌とお菓子の銘が関係していて昔の記憶が、こんなところで楽しみにつながるなんて！と嬉しく思いました。」といったお声などをいただきました。

On September 15 (Sat.), we held a lecture by Kyoto Suetomi master and owner Tomizo Yamaguchi on Japanese sweets. Many of his explanations of Japanese sweets which drawn by pastel crayon, brought to mind the season soon approaching. We also learned about the depth of confectionery creations based on Japanese poetry. For this lecture, he prepared sweets based on the classic Ogura Hyakunin Isshu poetry anthology, which everyone enjoyed at the end along with matcha tea. Tasting the sweets after we had learnt about the poetic expressions incorporated into them opened up a whole new worldview not just before our eyes, but in our mouths too!
