ナンテンの果実

お茶室の付近にあるナンテンが朱色の果実を付けています。こちらの実はヒヨドリの好物の１つであり、近くに人がいない時、よく実をついばみに来ています。ご自宅でナンテンの実が毎日少しずつ少なくなっていれば、それはヒヨドリがやってきているのかもしれません。

These fruits are a favorite food of bulbuls, and when there are no people around, these birds often come to peck at them. If the fruits on your heavenly bamboo plant are growing fewer and fewer every day, a bulbul may be paying you a visit.
